Well…Race weekend has been and gone. We all felt a little disappointed but proud of how we finished. We were at around 19th position when Scott was holding back from being overtaken but unfortunately ended up running off the track and coming off the bike. We thought from the damage it was going to be a DNF, but with the resilience of the team, we managed to get back on track. Albeit stripped down to a naked bike – finishing 31st out of 42!
As I say, the team where pretty upset but we did come in at a respectable 31st considering the damage! So now, the bike needs to be stripped down, new parts bought in, and a rebuild ready for the next race! July 11 that Teesside again!
